Ferenc Vörös
actor, member of Baltazar Theatre since 1998
Before the formation of Baltazar, Ferenc worked as a packer in Újpest, and his hobby was basketball. Even though he became a member of the company in 1998, he only left his job in Újpest in 2003; for five years he held his own in two jobs. In everything that’s important to him, Ferenc participates with heart, soul and tenacity. Even in his free time he likes to feel useful by helping others in smaller or greater matters: in the autumn he rakes the leaves in the Theatre’s garden; and in the winter, he shovels the snow. He also escorts his young colleague Andrea Pátkai to the theatre every morning when there is a rehearsal. To him, the best part of working in a theatre is acting in a finished performance (as opposed to rehearsing). The play closest to his heart was Feather Dance, in which he played the part of a young child. His hobby is collecting model cars – his most cherished piece is an Ikarusz bus from the 1960s.
