Panka Kovács
actor, member of Baltazar Theatre since 2014
Panka wanted to be an actor even as a child. She had seen several performances by Baltazar Theatre and decided that she wanted to join us. She started as a student at the Arts Centre, then later became a member of the company. Her first role – in Happy Hour – was playing an animal trainer who understood the language of animals. Among her favourites is the play Dandelion. She loves to dance and feels that she can express her deepest, most profound emotions through this production. Her biggest role was in the play The Comet, directed by Kriszta Kováts. She played the part of Üstike, the rebellious teenager who’s never afraid to tell the truth.
In her free time Panka listens to music, plays computer games and reads. She’s very fond of fantasy books, her favourites include The Chronicles of Narnia, and the Harry Potter and Twilight series.
